I can’t thank Dave and the team at Rapid Tune Hastings enough for the work they did on my WRX. My car came to them pretty much in pieces, with parts everywhere — honestly, it was like a massive Meccano set! Dave took on a very complex job and systematically worked through everything, including the oil change, gearbox replacement, timing belts, clutch, rear main seal, wheel alignment, gearbox wiring, steering rack and helping me with some upgrades and modifications. Dave went above and beyond to rectify everything properly. The car now drives absolutely amazing — zero leaks, feels tight and genuinely feels like a new car again. I really appreciate the time, effort and expertise Dave put into getting the car back to where it should be. There were plenty of challenges along the way, and this was a job that required a high level of skill and experience. Rapid Tune were willing to take it on when others simply couldn’t. The whole team behind Dave were fantastic — professional, reliable and easy to deal with from start to finish. Dave is an absolute genuine legend and it’s great to know there are still mechanics out there who take pride in their work and genuinely care about getting the job done right. Dave and his team do a fantastic job. Always very transparent, offering the best solutions to help the customer, and taking time to explain exactly what's going on with the car. Prices are extremely fair and reasonable, and very happy with the quality of work and excellent service. Took my son's car in today ,only called in the morning and could take it in to have a look at it that afternoon. Dave was fantastic, so helpfull from the 1st call ! I went to Rapid Tune Hastings about a month ago and I was very pleased with the service and advice that I received. Ruby the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I met Dave the owner/mechanic and he "went the extra mile" to help. Today (a Saturday morning) I called in to get some advice about my daughter's car. Dave was again very helpful and dropped what he was doing to help. There was a blown tail light which was very hard to remove but Dave persisted and rectified the problem. It is often hard to find people in this business that you can trust. That makes a big difference to me. I don't go handing out 5 stars unless I believe it is a genuinely good business. I have no hesitation to recommend Rapid Tune Hastings. In addition to the above review, I took my daughter's car in yesterday for a long overdue service. The brakes needed to be fixed. Dave and his team did a great job. My daughter was super-impressed with how the car drove afterwards. Dave also was competitive with his prices. My friend and I came into rapid tune for a Bluetooth issues, David was very helpful and let us come pop in a few minutes before closing before we headed to Melbourne. Amazing service!
